2. My hair looks frizzy after using the CharlieCurl. What should I do?
This could be the result of brushing it right before rolling it, some hair types frizz after brushing. Adding in some of your favorite hair product can also help.
3. Will this work on dry and damaged hair?
It should. Product may help in this case, especially for the ends. However with repeated use of the CharlieCurl instead of hot irons, your hair should start to look and feel healthier if used in conjunction with other proper hair care.
4. How long should I keep the CharlieCurl in?
Again, everyone's hair is different. This is where you may have to experiment a little bit. We suggest sleeping with it in to start. However some people have found it to curl their hair in just 3 or 4 hours. Test it out on your hair and let us know what works for you.
5. Do you recommend using product with the CharlieCurl?
Depending on your hair type. A lot of CharlieGirls have not used product. Some like smoothing cream for their ends if they are a little dry. Some like hairspray for a little extra hold once they take the CharlieCurl out.
6. What if it doesn't work well on the first attempt to use the CharlieCurl?
Try again! We can't stress enough that because of differences in hair type, you must experiment to find what works best for you. You could vary the length of time it is in, the dampness of your hair, or product used. The weather can even affect your hair and the results.
